The transition to sustainable, future-oriented mobility continues: with the official handover of 9 articulated electric buses from Mercedes. We are expecting a total of 19 e-buses this summer 2025, increasing our e-fleet to 45 vehicles.
The e-buses will bring quiet, efficient and emission-free public transport to the roads of Central Switzerland and are an important step towards climate-friendly mobility. For every kilometer we drive with an e-bus instead of a diesel bus, we avoid 1 kilogram of CO2.
At the handover, we welcomed Dirk Schmelzer, Managing Director / CEO Daimler Buses Schweiz AG, and Marcel Wolf, Mercedes-Benz & Setra Bus Sales. Their visit underlines the close and trusting cooperation that makes the successful use of the new buses possible.
