Every year in May/June, the public has the opportunity to submit their ideas and wishes for the timetable. ZVB customers take an active part in this process - the so-called timetable consultation. Thanks to this input, specific wishes can be examined. If they are operationally feasible and make sense for many passengers, they are implemented together with the relevant cantonal authorities.
Here are some examples that we are implementing this year with the timetable change on December 14, 2025:
- Baar: Line 604 will be extended from Zug in the direction of Baar to Blickensdorf at 7.18 pm. This will provide a connection from the center of Zug to the residential district of Blickensdorf directly after closing time.
- Alosen: At commuter times, the connection in the direction of Zug and back in the evening is guaranteed. In addition, the departure time for schoolchildren going home has been adjusted to 3.17 pm.
- Rates: Line 610 runs every hour from Monday to Friday from 8.30 a.m. on the installments. This is in response to customer demand for better access to this tourist region.
- Küssnacht: Line 622 now takes the population from Küssnacht to Meggen at 5.59 am. This turns an empty journey into an early service. In addition, line 653 will now serve the Eichholtern stop in Küssnacht, which was also an explicit customer request.
Further information on the timetable change can be found on the ZVB website.
