Busfahrerin Carla Landtwing

From wooden spoon to steering wheel

Before: restaurateur, salesperson, banker or graphic designer. After: bus driver. We train adults on an ongoing basis, including as a lateral entry and part-time model.

Fancy a new career start

The class in August is already full, as is the one in October. And the courses in November and December are also filling up quickly. We train people to become bus drivers all year round. Some of them already have professional experience as truck drivers and a category C driving license, while others have only ever driven Smart cars. On the other hand, as a trained small animal salesperson or waiter, they are characterized by a pronounced customer orientation.

For many, being a bus driver is a childhood dream. Sitting at the front left behind the steering wheel and driving a really big vehicle, enjoying the view of the sunrise through the windshield, working shifts, but also having time off when others are working - the job of a bus driver has characteristics that appeal to many. And it is not uncommon for people in their mid-forties to want to make a fresh start in their careers and do a job that is meaningful. And what could be better than chauffeuring people around happily and safely?

We also offer part-time training to become a bus driver, making it possible to return to work, combine family and career or even combine self-employment and employment.
